Description
Ego Pinetarsol Solution is designed to relieve itching and inflammation caused by various skin conditions, including dermatitis, anal and genital itching, chickenpox, nappy rash, sunburn, prickly heat, hives, insect bites, and other irritations. It also helps alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis. Pinetarsol serves as an effective alternative to soap, as soap may irritate tender or reddened skin.
Warnings
- Caution: Avoid contact with eyes.

Ingredients
- Pine Tar 2.3%
- Triethanolamine lauryl sulfate 6%
Directions for Use:
- One capful contains 10ml. Do not use soap on affected areas. Shake the bottle before use.
Bath:
Add 15-30ml to a warm or tepid bath (5ml for a baby bath or basin). Soak for 15-20 minutes, once daily, or more frequently for severe cases. Pat skin dry.
Shower:
Apply directly to wet skin, leave for a few minutes, then rinse. Pat skin dry.
Small Areas:
Add 10ml to 3 litres of cool or iced water, saturate cotton wool, and apply to affected areas for a few minutes. Pat skin dry.
For Bedridden Patients:
For conditions such as measles, elderly or surgical patients, add 10ml to 3 litres of warm water and use a sponge. Pat skin dry.
For Dry Skin and Eczema:
Use Pinetarsol Bath Oil for dry skin and eczema. Also available in Pinetarsol Gel and Pinetarsol Bar.
